Double Standards for Regulators?
Elliot Spitzer, recently said he wanted to drive a stake through the heart of a founding member of the NY Stock Exchange. Since when is it okay for someone who is an Attorneys General to act out like this? We are seeing more and more abuse of power. I personally know someone who emulates Elliot Spitzer who is a young up and coming rising star in a Federal Agency, who would in fact go out of their way to falsify documents, make threats, hide their identity, and attack reputable folks on behalf of competitors. He would and did do this for reasons of selfgratification and future job titles and kudos?
Elliot Spitzer has abused the law, made a death threat and should be terminated as this sets a horrible example of vindictiveness, pettiness and a scary precedence. There are junior prosecutors all over this country trying to emulate Mr. Spitzer; is this the example we as a nation wish to portray? Spitzer must be taken to task and fired immediately, or more will follow his lead and then we will have the attorneys who could be likened to International Terrorists as they attempt to destroy freedom and free markets for their own personal gain or future political ambitions.
This is a horrible day for Americans when an Attorneys General can make death threats and get away with it. Apparently there is no Truth, Justice and the American way in the Big Apple anymore? We must question what we as Americans stand for; is this it? Is this all the more we expect for those who serve the will of the common good? I think not? Vindictive Government Prosecutors:
This attitude in the name of justice is a sham and it is another strike against the men and women who died and all our family names to allow this to go on. It sets a bad example of future regulators. I have witnessed this personally from the local city code enforcement officer all the way up to Federal Agencies with our public trust in mind. They all have sworn to up hold the Constitution and those laws we freely follow as we agree under public contract and/or our chosen God to live within in our civilization.
If this type of behavior is all the better Elliot Spitzer can do as the Attorneys General, then maybe we do not need any Attorneys Generals or Attorneys to help us interpret what is right and wrong and enforce the laws of this land.
What are you thoughts, do you find this acceptable, are you satisfied with this behavior? Is this good enough for the NYC powerhouse of World Financial Markets? Are you willing to put your trust in a Public Official who thinks like this? Well? Are you? Do you believe in our freedoms?
What's next Witch Hunting with Crosses and Stakes and straw under their feet? Haven't we seen enough abuse of power yet from such regulators? When will it be enough; When Ayn Rand is proven correct? When there are no items on the shelves, when you pay $4.00 per gallon for gas and five for milk? When you are paying $900 for Health Care insurance per month and parking a mere $28 per period?
It is okay to scream if you have had enough. I wonder if anyone else out there has had enough of one Elliot Spitzer and for all those who emulate him and want his prestige and power, is it not time for you to go to? What say you? Think about it. Surely in the modern era we can do better than this in our present period.

FTC Franchise Rule Making Sound and Fury in the Sand Box of Free Markets
Today we have a new franchise report from the Federal Trade Commission to further inhibit the franchise model thru more redundant paper work and over regulation, which will only serve the lawyers and give job security to the bureaucrats. However, it serves no free man in this present period.

Federal Trade Commission Partnerships Questioned
In many reports we see that the Federal Trade Commission has referenced the Better Business Bureau. The Divided Language
I was dismayed to learn the other day, that my all-time favourite George Bernard Shaw quote may not in fact have been uttered by him.Nevertheless, even the misquotation that Britain and the United States are two countries divided by a common language, will ring true with any British Expat who has tried to make their new home in America.
Carl von Clausewitz On War
For anyone who wishes to become an armchair General in their living room while watching the nightly news unfold on their TV set, these are some things they need to know. So often the news media will give opinions and ask other reporters what they think about this or that or the other thing.
Army recovers terrorists' bodies from avalanche-hit areas in South Kashmir
As the death toll in the avalanche-hit Jammu and Kashmir is increasing day by day, the security forces have recovered the bodies of few terrorists who had taken shelter in the foothills of Pir Panjal mountain ranges to escape the clutches of security forces. Little did these terrorists know that they wouldn't be able to escape Nature's fury even if they hide from the army.
Let me throw out a random thought on Homeland Security Leadership Structure
Streamlining Homeland Security with a Free market flair? An idea of adding four more components to the joint chiefs of staff; hire a Jack Welch type as an ombudsman to the group, who does not play rank games. Two; Have an additional force called Biological Warfare for both defensive military and civilian populations; Homeland security force to unite the police forces, law enforcement agencies and private sector database team.
Failure to Supervise at the Federal Trade Commission
Many MLM sales people mean well but they inadvertently commit fraud and violate rules and laws in their presentations. This is unfortunate and is an issue too big for the Federal Trade Commission to handle, like SPAM or Identity Theft; the FTC is impotent.

The US Government; Under Sarbaines Oxley
Sarbaines Oxley was probably the easiest way to destroy free enterprise and it could be the quickest way to losing our government. If Agencies were forced into the same standards as the business community then they would be forced to close their doors.
Conspiracy Theory; Kill Off the Old Folks
Recently I met a man in a coffee shop, a conspiracy theorist, which had me cornered and began to get into a way-out conspiracy theory. As I listened to this crazy idea, he complained about all the usual folks.
Colts' Stadium Short on Horse Sense
The predominant discussion in the Indianapolis media over the proposed $500 million Colts stadium is how to fund it, not over the wisdom and propriety of taxpayers going into debt to build it.Apparently the leaders of both major political parties in Indiana have signed off on the concept, including a poor building design, and are content to confine their discussion to who's picking up the tab.

Every conflict has its economic moments and dimensions. The current conflict in Macedonia perhaps even more so.

Abu Ghraib: Our Surprise is the only Surprise
As pictures and videos surface showing young American soldiers humiliating and dehumanizing Iraqi prisoners, we, as a society, recoil in disgust and disbelief. Friends and family of those charged with such crimes, shake their heads in bewilderment and assure the world that the perpetrators are normal, caring, loving individuals without any prior sadistic or bullying traits.
John Kerry as a Prosecutor?
Prosecutors with political ambitions are known to modify the truth or withhold evidence in order to get a conviction. It is so common in fact that the greater the political ambitions the greater the unethical ness of their tenure as a prosecutor.
